Easily digestible food for small breed puppies, to be administered during the first year of life.
Happy Dog fit & vital Mini Puppy is a complete and especially balanced food for puppies from 1 month of age. It is ideal for the healthy and gentle nutrition of even sensitive small breed puppies up to 10 kg in adult weight. The wheat-free recipe offers a balanced blend of five selected animal proteins of the highest quality. Well-tolerated lamb, easily digestible poultry, tasty beef, nutritious fish, and egg protein ensure harmonious growth and optimal development. High-quality New Zealand mussels promote optimal development of your little puppy's musculoskeletal system. Calcium and vitamin D3 are largely responsible for bone strength and optimal development. Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids from fish and flaxseed ensure a shiny coat and healthy skin. Furthermore, flaxseed works in conjunction with a vital complex of special yeasts, antioxidants, and herbs to promote the function of the intestinal flora and the entire gastrointestinal tract.
A perfect food for small dogs
Your puppy's immune system shouldn't be neglected either, which is why vitamin C is a must-have in this recipe. Based on the Happy Dog Natural Life Concept®, your dog will receive everything it needs to benefit its body holistically, giving it a long, healthy life without worries.
How long should fit & vital Mini Puppy be fed?
From the fourth week of life to the twelfth month, Happy Dog fit & vital Mini Puppy is the ideal food. Small breeds up to 10 kg (adult weight) grow faster and more evenly than large breeds. Therefore, Happy Dog Mini Puppy products are fed from the first to the twelfth month of life. From the twelfth month onwards, a gradual transition to a suitable adult food is recommended. For example, we recommend products from our Happy Dog fit & vital line.

*Once adult weight is reached: Gradually transition to a diet suitable for adult dogs.
Directions
The daily ration should be gradually adjusted every 2-3 days or weekly until the recommended dose for the next phase is reached. As the dog reaches adult weight, energy requirements decrease, and the daily ration should be adjusted according to feeding recommendations. It is important to switch to an adult food when the dog reaches adult weight.
Food recommendations
Weigh puppies regularly and document weight development.
These values are for guidance only. Requirements vary depending on age, breed, husbandry, and activity. Individuals may need to adjust their food portions.
Don't overfeed – stick to average growth.
If you feed your dog a snack, the amount of food should be reduced accordingly. Tip: Use a portion of the daily ration as a snack.
Give the dry food or pour water (approx. 60°C) over it and let it absorb briefly.
Divide the daily amount of food into several meals (3-4).
Water is recommended at all times.
